We have found Makerbot PLA filament to have excellent colour consistency between rolls, high manufacturing quality and dimensional accuracy and lower print failures. We have also found that Genuine MakerBot PLA filament has a higher vicat softening temperature than other inferior brand filament making it less prone to heat creep and blocked extruders.
